Junior Grants

ISIAN and irs JUNIOR TRAVEL GRANTS for RhinoWorld 2019

Four Fellowships of $1000 each are offered to support attendance of junior members from developing nations to attend the RhinoWorld meeting. Only candidates below the age of 36 years can apply.

  • All applicants must submit their abstract to RhinoWorld via the website before the closing deadline of March 4th 2019; late applications will not be considered

  • Applications will be judged based on the scientific merit of the abstract submitted to the Congress and the applicant should be the presenting author

  • Applicants must submit a copy of their passport or other photographic proof of age

  • The I RhinoWorld Program Committee and the ISIAN and IRS BOD will determine the grant awardees.

To be considered for the Junior Member Grant, please tick the box in the Abstract Submission Portal and attach proof of age documents accordingly.

Isian and irs RESEARCH AWARDS 2019

The ISIAN and IRS are offering prizes for the best original research papers (basic science and clinical categories) to be presented at the meeting. There will be four total awards, 1st ($1,000) and 2nd ($750) in each category. Participation in this award competition requires that a complete manuscript in publication format be submitted for peer review and winners will be announced at the meeting.

Please note that these awards are open to applicants of any age who are submitting an abstract for presentation at the meeting. The Program Committee of RhinoWorld, supported by a number of invited expert referees (with input from the IRS and ISIAN BODS), will act as the jury and will select the four prize winners.

Manuscripts submitted to IFAR for the award, should clearly indicate on the Face Page, that the work is being presented at the RhinoWorld meeting in Chicago and that the manuscript should be considered for the award. Manuscripts must be previously unpublished. If the authors intend to submit the work for publication to a journal other than IFAR, the authors must also indicate this on the Face Page, and the copyright transfer agreement will be voided. If this is not clearly indicated on the Face Page it will be assumed that the author wishes to submit for consideration for publication into IFAR – if this paper as already been submitted elsewhere this would lead to breach of copyright.
