Rhinoworld Chicago

It has been a decade since the world’s rhinologic community gathered in the US for RhinoWorld in Philadelphia. IRS, ISIAN and ARS are joining together again to host this international gathering of physicians, surgeons, scientists, colleagues and friends.

Taking place in America’s “Second City,” Chicago is an architectural gem with an unparalleled skyline nestled on the shores of Lake Michigan. The beautiful Sheraton Hotel on the Chicago River will serve as host, steps from Michigan Avenue “Magnificent Mile” shopping, world class restaurants, and impressionistic masterpieces at the world-famous Art Institute.

The Annual ARS Summer Sinus Symposium has moved to RhinoWorld Chicago and will exist as a pre-meeting kick off on Wednesday, June 5th before the formal meeting.  You can expect the same great clinical panels featured at our annual summer events, with expanded opportunities for proctored  cadaver dissection by world known rhinologists. New this year will be a full instruction course in allergy that will include practical sessions.

The traditional ARS Spring scientific sessions usually held at COSM have also moved to RhinoWorld Chicago, which means with the added attraction of the ISIAN and IRS, RhinoWorld Chicago aims to be the premier scientific rhinology meeting in the world, in the basic science and the clinical realms

The official Opening Ceremony for RhinoWorld Chicago will be Thursday afternoon, June 6th followed by a cocktail reception on the famed Chicago Riverwalk where we will watch the sunset over the majestic skyline.

Over the next 3 days we will have a mixture of panels and symposia delivered by leading experts on the full range of rhinologic disease. This will include the latest developments in skull base surgery and the emerging role of biologic therapies. We will also have sessions devoted to acute sinusitis management using alternative, non-antibiotic based regimens. Office-based technologies will also be featured including new methods to treat chronic rhinorrhea and nasal valve collapse. We will also feature sessions on cosmetic rhinoplasty. Lastly, oral abstracts and poster sessions will provide the latest research findings from around the globe. Festivities will culminate with a not-to-be-missed gala dinner at the Field Museum, where we will dine with “Sue”, a Tyrannosaurus Rex and her dinosaur cousins.

We look forward to welcoming you to this world class meeting in this world class city!
